Bio
"Genre" is a musical group consisting of four musicians and a videographer. They formed the band in early 2012 and play a variety of original and cover songs covering many different styles and genres of music.
Rebecca Barton (vocals) has been singing since an early age. Over the past few years, she's done well entering many singing competitions. Her main influences are from rock, pop, and dance music.
Rick Bartlett (guitar and vocals) has been playing in bands for many years, playing a variety of music such as, rock, country, folk, blues, etc. His main influences are from rock and progressive rock.
James Morrison (bass guitar and vocals) has been playing in a few local bands over the past few years covering hard rock, heavy metal, grunge, and rock. His main influences are from edgier rock genres.
Mustafa Pishori (drums and percussion) has been playing drums for many years and is interested in many types of music such as funk, reggae, heavy metal, pop, dance, hip-pop, etc. His main influences are from funk and rock.
Lee McCarty (videography and photography) has been interested in filming and media for many years to go along with a keen interest in many types of music
