When DIY music tools like Supernova.com are teamed up with Canada’s #1 Indie Talent search, you know you're gonna find some supremely hardcore undiscovered talent. The rock metal rhythms of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, one of 10 finalists in this year’s Fox Vancouver Seeds Indie Talent Competition, definitely held their own this year against an array of competitive musical styles.
Hailing from New Westminster, British Columbia, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes released a self-titled EP in 2007, and now - with a little help from bands like Noise Therapy, Hedley, and A Textbook Tragedy - the 5 ‘Gentlemen’ have just wrapped up their new 11-song album, The Masquerade.
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes made it all the way to the Top 10 in this year's Fox Vancouver Seeds Indie Talent Competition, powered by Supernova.com. Bio
We are Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, a 5-piece rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia. We recently finished recording our eleven-song album with the help of Dave Ottoson, formerly of the band Noise Therapy, and current co-owner of Moshpit Productions. During recording of the album, we also had help from Chris Crippin from the band Hedley, as well as help from Bill Crook, from the band A Textbook Tragedy. We are all very hard working individuals, with a dream of making great, memorable music that can succeed in both the mainstream and underground music scenes. We all have the passion, desire, and work ethic to take our band to the top.
