George Ann Skelton

George Ann Skelton, is known for the Anointing of God on her life for ministry in song, but she has also been recognized for her powerful delivery straight from the heart. Early on while singing with various choirs and praise teams, she has also served in music ministry as a choir director, song arranger and a songwriter.

Due to a life of many trials and challenges she faced as a woman from childhood to the present including homelessness, she is going forth like never before to extend the hand of Jesus to a lost and dying world. She understood early on that God was not calling her as a “church-going-feel-good” singer, but instead as a minister of the gospel in song, that would literally reach out and compel those who are lost, to come to Christ. .

George Ann is one of the most sought out Gospel singers. Whether it be a Woman's Conference, a Couples Retreat or a concert to name a few, George Ann has been known to usher in the presence of the Lord that brings deliverance to all in attendance. She is very clear regarding her direction of the message from her debut CD entitled “Always There”.

This CD is no doubt life changing for everyone with its up tempo beats, Latin feels as well as many heartfelt songs of ministry. Her ministry of song has been described as a “mountaintop experience”. There are songs on this project for women, for couples and also a soul stirring dance track with Christian Rap featuring her husband Keith Skelton that is sure to get you on your feet. This debut CD has been reviewed by many radio announcers and has been labled as a "hot must have CD".

George Ann has had the blessed opportunity to write or co-write most of the songs on her soon released CD, including the title song “Always There.” She has published many songs of her own as well as for others to include a song that she co-wrote for the “Ark of Safety Music & Arts Choir” titled, “When You Need A Friend”, which was on their debut CD, and where Bishop C. Anthony Muse is the Pastor. She has shared the stage with National artists such as Shirley Ceasar, Vickie Winans and Hezekiah Walker as well as other artists Internationally from Nigeria and London, England.

She was also cast for a Gospel Musical Stage Play called “The Prodical Family” and appeared on “The 700 Club”.
