George David

George David is an 18 year old singer-songwriter from London whose gentle guitar playing, soothing voice and cleverly put together melodies produce a perfect combination of acoustic folk and alternative country. George’s lyrics are heartfelt, true and are easy to relate too.

George has been playing music since he was a small child, having played piano since the tender age on 6, he later moved on to drums, then onto guitar whilst singing constantly throughout his time as a child and all the way to his teenage and adult years.

George has influences that range from classic guitar and rock of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young to heartfelt lyrics from Keaton Henson all the way through the combination of the two in John Mayer, Jeff Buckley and Matt Corby.

Having played OxJam festival, playing in a 60's tribute band at The Royal Albert Hall, playing various gigs in and around London as well as travelling around the Southern Hemisphere in late 2012 to early 2013, his desire to play music for a living has increased as well as his inspiration to write new and original material. Working closely with his manager, he is finding new and exciting opportunities to play around England and he is hoping that his hard work will pay off with an increased fanbase and the chance to continue to do what he really loves as a living.
