Bio

George Mantas first started playing guitar at 11 years old. When he first started playing is when he decided to start a band and writing songs of his own at the same time.

George has had continuing performances at local talent shows, open mic nights, in his hometown of South Amboy, as well as other places around the NY/NJ area. He has won 3 years in a row at the Raritan Bay Seafood Festival talent shows, and continues to perform at them each year. His most memorable performance was on May 25, 2000 at South Amboy High School's community talent show when he expressed his love for a classmate by performing a song that he wrote for her called "I Think of Marisa." George received a huge standing ovation at the end of that performance.

On the third Tuesday of the month, George sometimes is interviewed on the program "Starry, Starry, Nights" in Union, NJ @ their open Mic Night sessions.

A lot of his influences have been by numerous artists such as Hanson, Vanessa Carlton, Meat Loaf, Paramore, and the Moffatts.
