Bio
George's background includes over 30 years of working in corporate settings, currently serving as Chief Talent Officer for Ogilvy & Mather, a global advertising and communications firm.
His music adventure began more recently. He began taking guitar lessons in 2001 to embark upon a joint activity with his son; who at the time was moving through a bit of a bumpy adolescence. After about 18 months, he began to write songs and deeply immersed himself in the process. His son tried desperately to counsel him to moderate this rather odd, obsessive behavior and to stop acting so juvenile; but it was beyond hope.
How he had overlooked this deep interest in artistic expression is unclear, however opening this new door has been both rewarding and exhilarating for him. Like most people, he writes from a wide array of experiences, from growing up in a small house with six children, working summer jobs in steel factories to residing in Paris. Combining his lyrics with pleasant, simple melodies, he has discovered a new world at a rather late stage. He feels he has a lot of catching up to do.
George also acknowledges his family and group of friends for their love, humor, encouragement, criticism and patience with him during this journey.
