Bio

While he may be one of the best guitarists you've never heard of, George Vinson is changing that with the release of "Spheres of Influence", his first-ever solo CD after 30 years of being an in-demand sideman and session player in his hometown of Birmingham, AL.

Now residing in the Nashville area, George's music has taken him literally around the globe, playing in Italy, Switzerland, Ireland, Japan, and most recently the country of Oman in the Persian Gulf region.

George's influences (Beatles, Pink Floyd, Yes, U2, Coldplay, Kansas, etc) proudly inform his work, from great cover arrangements, to his own songs and instrumentals. In concert, he's joined by some of the best players in the Southeast. The live show also includes great lighting and cool video pieces.

For more info, check out the equally-cool website (www.project150.com) where you can listen to tunes, download desktop wallpaper, and subscribe to "Spheres" the electronic newsletter magazine from George and Project Onefifty.

As if this isn't enough to keep him busy, GV still finds time to burn up the interstate, doing sessions and live gigs around the region.
