George Wein Band

George Wein was born in the military community of Jacksonville, NC in 1983. Shortly after moved to Fort Bragg, N.C. where he started piano lessons at the age of 10. By the age of 13 George relocated with his family to Colorado Springs, CO where he continued his piano lessons and started working on something new.....the guitar. After a year and a half of acoustic playing George began his big jump into the electric guitar which really transformed his world forever. At the age of 18 George played for his high school in a talent show with one of his good friends on drums, his brother Richard on guitar, and his cousin on bass. George continued his personal study on the guitar through books, music videos, the internet, and occasional guitar friends such as hercules castro who played in pyscho drama and section 16. At 23 George really joined his first professional Rock/Metal band and started playing out in the community. The band was called "Pain Gate Theory". Today George has his own studio where he does most of his songwriting and recording.
