Georgios Pesios

My first influence was my father - Costas Pesios. As a former guitarist and band leader, he influenced me with his passion for rock (Deep Purple, White Snake, Rainbow, etc.) Later on I plunged in the prog-rock/metal style, listening to bands like Dream Theater. A guitarist myself I taught myself playing Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. I am strongly influenced by Bulgarian folk music and like to incorporate odd time signatures and unordinary scales in my music. I got into electronic music and chill out, listening to various Buddha Bar compilations. I am trying myself in the fields of pop and R&B music. As far as education and my furute goals, I am currently a student at City College of New York in the SONIC Arts program and am preparing myself to become a versatile producer. I've taken also private lessons in harmony and theory with a composer in my home country and am currently studying those at CCNY, as well as piano. I've certificated myself in Pro Tools, via the online course offered by Berklee College of Music and intend to become a certified Apple Pro Logic 7 user by the end of June. I am planing for the future to take my Pro Tools and Logic studies to a greater level, covering the Operator level for Pro Tools and the Logic Trainee courses.
