Bio
Geriko were formed back in the heady days of school when everyone and their dog had a band. Playing gigs to friends and well wishers in the early days these 3 friends realised there was more to come.
In 2006 they recorded the critically acclaimed E.P Bagfull Of Sins and embarked on a promotional tour of Ireland taking in Dundalk, Belfast, Waterford, Cork, Mullingar, Limerick, Drogheda and Dublin which culminated in a headlining show in Whelan's. They also played in the Ambassador venue in Dublin alongside The Stone Roses Experience.
With word of mouth spreading and steady airplay from Dave Fanning interest in the band grew and support slots with some of Ireland's biggest acts including Republic Of Loose and The Blizzards followed.
The Geriko music is a mix of everything the 3 boys listen to and love but don't let that fool you into thinking it's not unique. What sets this band apart is the simple fact that they are creating something new and exciting. Every bit of energy and every idea in their collective armour are used to create what has been described as the best live show in the country.
Geriko are in the process of bringing back the power trio and telling everyone else on the music wagon to get the fuck off!
The band is embarking on a Dutch Tour at the end of this month, playing 8 dates abroad (including Ommer, The Hague, Marienberg, Gramsbergen) supporting established rockers Jaded Sun.
