Gerry Sears

Gerry is a multi-instrumentalist/singer-songwriter from Joliet, IL that plays guitar, bass, keys, banjo, and harmonica. His music has a traditional americana sound with overtones of folk, jazz, and soul. Some influences include The Greatful Dead, Bob Dylan, Hank Williams, Willie Nelson, Van Morrission, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Sublime, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Xavier Rudd, John Fogerty, along with many others. He has performed at numerous venus and festivals around the midwest as a solo artist as well as with previous bands Vintage, Cagedbird Kill, The Thirsty Travelers, and Brown Bag Special. Currently he is working on new material while booking origional and cover solo/duo acoustic shows for spring/summer 2012.
