< GET MONEY OR DIE!!!...The phrase may be a little drastic, but the message is clear. GMD, better known as GET MONEY OR DIE!!! was formed in 2005 between long-time associates of the EASTSIDE ATLANTA cities of Clarkston, Decatur, and Scottdale. Partners since 2000, this group of mind-over-matter, no words barred, hustle or kill your self grinders have been connecting on music and appearing locally in venues since the Y2K threat. Consisting of 5 members (originally solo artists): Big ZILLAH and Kash Capone of Clarkston, Dreadful and Young D of Decatur, and Young Pimpin' of Scottdale. Each member gives insightful and heart-drenching views of life in the streets of Metro Atlanta from a point blank view. Fused with different rhythms of several regions, GMD is not your typical Atlanta Crunk style group. Although all members were raised in the Decatur, GA area, members like Dreadful (Born in Jamaica, Originated in New York) and Big ZILLAH (Born in New Orleans, Lived in Florida) bring a ton of fresh flava, puttin curry and cayenne pepper on every track they breathe on. Keep ya ears to the pavement this year. This group is bringing the band element back to hip-hop wit a Dirty South Gangsta spin. With the hit singles "Why You Think Dey Pay Me!" and "Bend Over" on the horizon, solo albums from each member in the works, videos and short films in the making, and a non-profit organization for the youth in the hole, this group of rap artists have thier eyes on the BIGGER picture
