"a ghetto fabulous good time in an East Village kind of way" - Timeout NY Magazine
"(this)...act, that has shared stages with Kelis and comedian Dave Chapelle, among others, combines elements of funk, rock, reggae, and hip-hop."
- LA Times
"Their inventive storytelling, humor, and thoroughly danceable style has already won them a fiercely loyal left-coast audience."
- Flavorpill LA
"...musically it's challenging... the skill level in the group is high. The players are all top-notch and perform well together...one gets the feeling that Get Licious is a group of naughty little boys trying to impress everyone with their scathing wit... musically this is a fine band with cool ideas. But, other than that, Get Licious is decidedly uncool, and in dire need of an attitude adjustment." - Music Connection Magazine

Bio
Get Licious was formed in Southern California not long ago.
Touted as a "recommended event" by Timeout New York Magazine, Get Licious has been described as "a ghetto fabulous good time in an East Village kind of way".
They have performed with Jonny Lives! (now in heavy rotation on NYC and UK radio stations), Danglers (NYC Punk Princes), and J Records golden boy Gavin DeGraw (whose debut recently went Gold.) Gavin's favorite Get Licious tune is 'Bitch Stole My Hummus'.
The LA Times writes, "(this)...act, that has shared stages with Kelis and comedian Dave Chapelle, among others, combines elements of funk, rock, reggae, and hip-hop."
