Getwell 9 is a musical collective based in Memphis, TN, drawing influences from afrobeat, funk, soul, reggae, dixieland jazz and world music filtered through the lens of a classic Stax sound. Driving instrumental jams that stand on their own, fresh takes on timeless covers, and original music are the focus of its nine members. With vocals, horns, drums, percussion, guitar, bass and keys, it's all in service to the groove.
