I mean it’s nice to discover artist who still keep lyricism, bars, and flows at the forefront of their repertoire and find their way to connect with music listeners with raw authenticity rather than auto tuned and reverberated emotion. G. Franklin is the epitome of this type of artist and his new single “LHS” is the perfect demonstration of why. He narrates a piece of his life story in a reminiscent context that really hits home if you’ve ever found yourself missing your loved ones or longing for home. What I enjoyed most and appreciate more about G.Franklin as an artist is his ability to tell stories within his songs. He’s able to literally paint pictures with words, riddling and rhyming his way around any theme or moment in time. My names Greg Franklin II, I Go by G.Franklin, that's my artist name as well. I've been writing and rhyming for the last decade, just now getting a little buzz behind me. Born and raised out of Fairbanks Ak until I was 18. Moved to Cincinnati with my parents after I graduated high school, been between the two states ever since. In between that time my experiences through all my travels and living, college young adult life, I was inspired to write. Only time I've performed live for anything was growing up in the church choir and choir in high school, however I'm very professional and confident to have a good set because I know this a different game. Thank you.
