- Direct quote to GG

"Hey GG, I like your version of pops’ song. Lady, you’ve got some pipes. If I come across anyone looking for a hot blues diva who can WAIL, you know where I will send them!!! Take care and keep swinging the blues. Thanks again for the disc. IT’S ALL GOOD!!! " - Review of song

"Hal Horowitz - writer"

“. . Shimmering debut . . GG Amos is the real deal and she’s got the album to prove it . . molten, stinging, fluid guitar tone . . amazingly supple and powerful voice . .” - Blues Revue Magazine 1999

"Kenn Rodriguez - writer"

"Sparse yet tasty playing and
smooth-as-30-year-old-whisky vocals" - Albuquerque Journal

"Kjell Andreassen - DJ"

"Hi GG, Thank you very much for a really great album. Must say nothing is as good as sex, but this is close."

- Radio Holstebro - Denmark

"Drew Hobbs - writer"

“GG is a scintillating guitarist with a fluid, stinging style and a tremendous voice which she uses to great effect. If you can't groove to this, you've got no soul !!” - Kokomo Records - UK

"Horst Horsekienen - writer"

“. . One of the most impressive young up and coming new guitarists I have heard. It seems like there is a bountiful crop of female guitarists on the scene such as Deborah Coleman and Susan Tedeschi. They got nothin' on GG ! ”
- Tune Times - Michigan

"Rolf Stensletten - writer"

“I could have mentioned several women guitarists who have had their breakthrough, that don't reach this lady to the knees. GG has the blue tone in her playing that every guitar player is searching for.
This is an extremely competent release from a blueslady that has the musical experience and ballast that's needed for a breakthrough” - Rock Magazine - Norway

"Rol Trierweiler - Promoter, DJ & Writer"

“It’s always a great pleasure for us people in Europe to discover incredibly talented musicians we never heard about - of course your CD has been and will be played in our radio show ‘Turn the Heat Up !!!” - Radio ARA - Luxembourg

Bio

GG Amos is an electrifying blues, soul and funky jazz guitarist and singer with a distinctive, expressive style. Her guitar influences vary from the likes of Carlos Santana, Johnny 'Guitar' Watson and Magic Sam, to Kenny Burrell and Pat Metheny. As a vocalist, her influences have been many but says she learned more about expression, timing and phrasing from the great Louis Armstrong than any other singer. GG also credits much of her early blues development to Nate 'Snakeboy' Shiner, a Texas native, and one of the top lap slide & harmonica players in the world.

GGs’ CD "Gotts Ta Go" has gotten rave reviews from radio DJs, print media and the public in the U.S., Canada, Europe, South America, Australia and New Zealand. It is currently available on MusicDistributors.com.
