Bio
Once you hear Ghetto Alliance's performance, you will have to say it truelly exemplifies the most current energies that are taking the street and club rap scenes by storm. Their rapid-fire (Young Cato) and steady on-beat (L'il Cheeta) flows compliment each other masterfully and supplies a consistent ride throughout each individual track. Their story telling of everyday urban life is unparellel with any other act within their age group (Young Cato, 18 and L'il Cheeta, 17).
Both Cato and Cheeta hail from North Memphis, TN. By tearing down high school showcases coupled with neighborhood ciphers and battles, both are highly known and respected as talents within their respective neighborhoods. In 2003, after both were separately introduced to Bell Entertainment Group Productions (BEG Productions), they began spending a lot of time together in-studio. After seeing an cohesiveness between the two, BEG Productions ventured into trying to work the two as a group. IT WORKED! They have jellied since day one. Now armed and ready, GA's street anthems are catching attention city wide, along with gaining the public support needed to advance. The future looks bright for Ghetto Alliance.
To close out the 2004 year, Ghetto Alliance were one of only twenty acts chosen to participate in the finals of the Sony/Gigamerica Urban Showcase at the famous New Daisy Theater in Memphis, TN.
