Bio
Born and raised in Southern California, GhostRida has always been involved in recording. A Rap music career was his dream, hypnotized by fancy cars, beautiful women, money and fame, he was focused on success at age 18. Selling Cds out of his trunk, GhostRida (previosly known as Young Starr from the group "Young Starr and Starr Child") managed to sell 20,000 records. He found himself surrounded by drugs, alcohol, whoremongers, gangsters and an overall unclean lifestyle.
In 2007 at age 26 his whole life changed when he was soaked in sin and felt the Holy Spirit tugging on his heart, informing him that his message was contrary to Gods kingdom and that he must choose his path.
The spiritual encouner was so shocking, he made a decision to repent of his sins, disband his record label, relocate to Arizona and withdraw from music.
He has since joined Central Christian Church in Gilbert Arizona where he has served on the video production team as technical director for the last year-and-a-half. After hearing several messages during Church regarding using your gifts to glorify the Lord and Christians being guilty of not telling their stories, GhostRida has decided to pick up the mic again and ride through the darkness to deliver the light of Jesus Christ.
He realizes that there is great responsability with stepping out on faith to deliver the Gospel. He writes music with his Bible open during his studies to make sure his songs are in alignment with Gods word.
