Ghostrunner

Ghostrunner is the thinking man's new alternative rock. An interesting statement and philosophy for a band that prides itself not on songs about why your girlfriend left you but how the world around you actually is and how you, (yes, you) can make it better. Following the creative lead of Chris and Pascal Buckley, Ghostrunner debuts its new self-titled EP. It's a collection of songs which give you insight into the obstacles you place in your own path and the time you dedicate to your own self-sabotage. For example, in featured songs such as Spartacus, they state you merely have to overcome the limitations that _you_ put in front of yourself. No one else.
But to do this, you have to analyze why you choose a path of limitation and self-destruction. Is it the fear of what lies ahead if you weren't confined?
In Magazineland, we are reminded that the media image of happiness and the good life is not reality. Disconnect from the false ideas and images which are frustrating you, all the material things you can't have. Start re-connecting with all the truly important things around you that you do have.
Ghostrunner's statement is simple and straightforward.
Respect yourself, accept who you are and want to be and go after it. Your path is your own, only you can decide how to live. But you must decide.
