BandR&BPop

"R&B with a twist of Hip-Hop" is how I describe my music. It’s "feel good" music, but "real life" oriented. I'm giving you hot beats to dance to while relating to “real life” situations...pretty clever.

Biography

I've always wanted to sing, dance and act professionally, but never actually pursued singing because I was too shy. Even though I'm a trained professional dancer, it was always different than singing because I never have to say (or sing) anything when dancing. It's funny, because I never used to sing for ANYBODY!! Last summer, shortly after purchasing a new cell phone, I switched phone carriers and decided to give my sister (now manager) my other cell phone. I had forgotten that I had a few recordings on that cell phone...you see, in my spare time (alone), I would record myself singing my favorite songs. My sister found the recordings while testing out the phone I had given her. She then played them for the rest of my family in amazement that I had been blessed with such talent and had not even told anyone about it. Ha! When I think back, it's really a funny story to me...but it was through that situation that I eventually gained enough courage to get on out there and do what was always in my heart - SING!

Lyrics

Love We Had

Written By: G. McNair, S. McNair, R. McNair, C. Davis

Chorus:
The love we had has all gone to pass
(The love we had has gone to pass)
The love we had has all gone to pass
(The love we had has gone to pass)

1st Verse:
(Hush)
I couldn't see myself with nobody else
(Hush)
Always thought you'd be so true to me
(Hush)
Now it's hard to breathe without you here with me
(Hush)
The lovely days we had have all gone to pass

Chorus:
The love we had has all gone to pass
(The love we had has gone to pass)
The love we had has all gone to pass
(The love we had has gone to pass)

Bridge:
Always think about the love we used to have
Now I'm crying and I'm feeling oh so sad
I close my eyes and boy I just can't sleep
I'm realizing that we could never be
I wish these clouds would overtake the sun
I look around and there's no way to run
Boy I wish that you were here with me
But you'll never come back to me

Chorus:
The love we had has all gone to pass
(The love we had has gone to pass)
The love we had has all gone to pass
(The love we had has gone to pass)

2nd Verse:
(Hush)
Lay awake at night, can't even sleep
(Hush)
Always on my mind, making me weak
(Hush)
Never thought I'd be saying these things
(Hush)
Never thought I'd be feeling this way

Vamp:
You said you'd never change
You said you'd be with me baby
But now you've changed and gone away

Chorus:
The love we had has all gone to pass
(The love we had has gone to pass)
The love we had has all gone to pass
(The love we had has gone to pass)

Background:
Your love will pass
Your love will pass
Your love will pass
Your love will pass

I know your love will pass baby

Broken

Written By: G. McNair

1st Verse:
I thought that we would last forever
But I was wrong I should have known better
The way you used to talk to me
Oh, I thought that we would be
Something special...I was so wrong
Had to turn and walk away

Chorus:
Said I'm broken up over you
Don't know what I'm gone do
How could you leave me this way
You said you loved me baby

2nd Verse:
Now you're saying that I've changed but that's now true I've remained the same
You were the one with someone else and you've put the blame on me

Bridge:
Maybe someday you will find
That I'm the one who loved you right
You were the apple of my eye
Now all I wanna do is cry

Chorus:
Said I'm broken up over you
Don't know what I'm gone do
How could you leave me this way
You said you loved me baby

Said I'm broken up over you
Don't know what I'm gone do
How could you leave me this way
You said you loved me always, yeah

Background:
Why did you hurt me baby
I loved you, but you couldn't see
The good woman you had found in me
Instead you chose to lie to me baby, yeah

Single

Written By: G. McNair

1st Verse:
All my life
I've been looking for a man I could have right by my side
A man who's true and knows just what I like
A man who can show me what real love is like...hmm

2nd Verse:
Now you tell me
That you're that type of guy that I should have on my team
You're not full of games but full of mystery
And that I should take a chance with destiny...maybe

Background:
I'm living the single, single, single...life

Chorus:
But baby you remind me of
A love I used to know
I had to let him go
Baby you remind me of
A man who hurt me so...
You're not the right one for me

3rd Verse:
Oh I...
I know that you say that you're my kind of guy
And maybe someday I might give you a try
But until then I think I'll live the single life...hey

Background:
I'm living the single, single, single...life

Chorus:
Baby you remind me of
A love I used to know
I had to let him go
Baby you remind me of
A man who hurt me so...
You're not the right one for me
