GIDEON'S DEMISE (2011 so far; BESTIVAL 2011 + REEF support + PROUD MARY support)

BESTIVAL
"Southampton rock outfit Gideon’s Demise have, in the space of just 2 short years become a very serious prospect indeed. Their made for stadiums, anthemic sound has been lapped up by fans and critics alike. File under must see and make sure you do!"

PLAYING OUT LOUD
"Anyone who has seen Gideon’s Demise play live, will testify that their songs are stadium sized anthems which belie the fact that the intense and gargantuan noise coming from the stage is being made by just three people"

Gideon’s Demise have made staggeringly large steps in the very short space of time in which they have been playing live. Within 2 years of their 1st gig they have played Bestival 2011, supported Reef and Proud Mary, performed at Ocean Colour Scene's official aftershow party, packed out the 100 Club London. They have played lives set on Radio Wave 105, BBC Radio Solent (who describe the band as "Excellent – very anthemic sound… on the brink of something great here"), and Isle of Wight Radio, with further exposure on BBC Introducing who gave them an excellent review, describing them as “Definitely a Band to see live – Really accomplished." They go for an epic sound and describe themselves as ambitious for a three piece. “In fact, they have a sound big enough to fill the Royal Albert Hall… These boys are ready to rub shoulders with the big boys” (Playing Out Loud).
