The music: It's a hybrid of classic rock including, Kiss, Bad Company, Led Zeppelin, and the Allman Brothers styles, blended with modern sounds like Black Stone Cherry, Wolfmother, and, Black Label Society. The riff based rhythms and nasty grooves snag both guys and gals from the first note to the last song. Their catchy hooks and vocal harmonies make the choruses larger than life, and audiences can't help but sing along! The guitars are best described as a cross between tag team wrestlers, and a symphony string section complete with soaring harmonies!
The Band:Jarrod Sanders' vocals are nothing short of awesome, first and foremost, but to describe his sound, you'd have to include Chris Cornell, and Paul Rodgers -no kiddin'!
Barry Hall: Tone monster and stage hellion, this guy has it all. Killer thick, crunchy riffs delivered with passion and reckless abandon ie, the bull in a china shop approach!
Blake Hall: An agressive, yet somehow smooth player, he's the perfect complement to Barry in the guitar department & the talent just drips off him. He belts out powerful vocal harmonies as well, & he's one handsome devil that commands the audience's attention!
Mark Conner: Gift Horse's very own gOd of Thunder! When this guy lays down a groove, your feet are gonna move! His stage personality and vocal harmonies make him the perfect man for the job!
Rod Saylor: THE master of Groove, precision timekeeper, and wild showman extraordinaire is the foundation from which all Gift Horse music springs! If you watch & listen to this guy, you'll see what it means to "bring it", everytime!
