2013 was the start of a new beginning for Philly phenom Gilbere Forte. Forte burst back on to the scene with the release of singles "PRAY" and "Nolita." Two hypnotic tracks that had fans and critics alike buzzing thanks to his raw lyricism, dynamic performance on the mic and the stunning visual interpretations to match. Forte, who was best known for his 2010 single Black Chukkas has proven himself as a powerful voice in hip-hop, cemented by his swift emergence and his various honors (including being featured on the BET Awards, Fuse and putting out releases with Pusha T, Tyga and Big K.R.I.T). Forte had a brief reconstruction period, taking some time to reconnect with himself and music, and began working on his full length PRAY album. The 10-track body of work chronicles the challenges, tribulations and enlightenment Forte has experienced over the past 2 years. His triumphant return further proves his remarkable versatility as a rapper, and making it clear that Gilbere Forte is a name to be on the lookout for in 2013 and beyond.
