Bio
Gillian Boucher has been delighting audiences with her unique musical approach in Scotland, England, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia and throughout most of North America. As a highly skilled fiddle player, she has made guest appearances on various recordings and is releasing her highly anticipated debut album this year, recorded by CBC Radio.
Gillian's on-stage-career started at the tender age of 15 when she was invited to perform at Green Linnets 20th Anniversary Gala in the Catskill Mountains of New York state. From there she moved to festival stages and theatres across the Eastern seaboard with notable performances at The Kennedy Centre in Washington DC, The North Carolina Museum of Art and was twice featured as a Cape Breton guest at the renowned Washington Irish Folk Festival, all by the age of 17.
Now a little older (Wiser? Perhaps...) she has settled back in her homeland of Nova Scotia with finger-style guitar-magician Andrew White. The two can be found preparing to conquer the world with their music, touring regularly together in various parts of the universe.
