gímaldin og félagar (gímaldin and comrades) was founded in 2010, gímaldin, who is a singer/songwriter, and Gísli and Doddi had been working in neighboring bands for some years and worked together only on studio projects, and decided to join up for a live act, and play straight rock (or mostly straight), They played a couple of shows and in the end of the year went into the studio to record, this album is due to release in autumn 2011. The album has already been played on the National Radio, with enthusiastic echoes.
