In between main stage acts, the bandstand stage continued to offer a host of local treats with short sets by Gina Larner and Worcester's Rosie Mountjoy both impressing, the former for her bewitching folly tones and weaving an intoxicating spell of guitar and violin. - The Whole Hog

Still working on that hot first release.

Gina Larner, is a singer songwriter from Brighton, who performs with her violinist/backing vocalist Jess Butterworth, and her drummer Alex Hodgson with the beautiful combination of the classic folk instruments; Violin, Guitar and multiple vocals

Influenced by country singers such as Miranda Lambert, The Band Perry and folk artists such as The Lumineers.

Gina Larner is a singer/songwriter from Brighton who grew up around country and folk music. Gina Larner is the main singer of the group, and also accompanies the two voices with acoustic guitar. Gina has been writing songs for years and although originally trained in theatre, fell in love with folk music from a young age.

Studying Popular Music at Gloucester University, the girls began playing together in the first year, playing covers of well known songs in their own genre. Together they have played multiple open mics/gigs around Cheltenham as well as writing multiple original songs to perform to their fans, as well as going to open mics around Bristol and Cardiff. They have played multiple festivals this summer (19), including Wychwood Festival and For the Love of Music.

Gina Larner has also released two singles on Spotify called 'Don't Walk', and her most recent release 'Something Good', and is to release new music further this year.

Multiple videos of performances and snippets from songs can be found on the facebook and instagram page, along with acoustic versions of covers on youtube of Gina and Jess.
