"IMPACT Press"

[Gina Young] has a clear, stunningly beautiful, strong
voice, and crafts her songs extremely well. Her music has a
rebellious power that is truly infectious. - Don Pflaster

"The Portland Phoenix"

Gina Young… recall[s] the confrontational stance of
quintessential riot grrrls Bikini Kill.

"GirlPunk.net"

Baby riot grrrls in search of a new feminist hero – look no further than Gina Young. On She's So Androgynous, the folk-punk singer delivers a second album of violent, insightful songs... Young speaks to her own generation, as someone who was a teen in the mid-'90s and regrettably ‘know[s] more about Britney than Ghandi.’ - Andrea Benvenuto

"Off Our Backs"

Her lyrics are razor sharp and full of meaning… sure to engage and inspire.

"Out.com"

I haven’t been this excited about a riot grrrl band since the days of 7 Year Bitch. In the vein of Le Tigre and Team Dresch, Gina Young’s She’s So Androgynous gives the queer women’s music movement an overdue kick in the pants. Politicized to the teeth and hellbent on expanding your consciousness, Young is an artist to watch. - Tracy Hipp

"Splendid Magazine"

She's So Androgynous is therapeutic. Gina Young's sweet, passionate voice, her ranged guitar performance and her talented backing band are salves for the ragged, patriotic soul. The administration had to lie about a football player's death to make an American hero for their cause, but Gina Young only needs to keep living and singing to be a beacon for ours. - Mike Meginnis

"The Village Voice"

[Gina Young] does middle-class chick rebellion even better than Liz Phair. - Maya Kremen

"All Music Guide"

Here is a talent that is equal to Ani DiFranco and Tori Amos in integrity. Even if you strip Intractable of its steadfast activism and feminist stance, it is apparent that Gina Young could quite possibly be the next gigantic female vocalist inhabing the East coast scene. - Jason D. Taylor

"AfterEllen.com"

Trading in her keyboard for a guitar on her solo album 3AM Voice, Young sings with an earnest quality in the same vein of the Murmurs and Tegan and Sara. It might be a little more lo-fi, but I find it endearing and all the more real on love songs like "Quantum Physics and Me." 3AM has a great sound quality that is surely care of both the artist and her producer.
