Biography

Ellis Eugene (Gino) Blacknell record producer-songwriter-journeyman tour musician, is a national-act level talent noted for his bassist riff-ology as well as his two fisted jazz-funk keyboard chops, has gone on to perform with and provide technical support for a cavalcade of star artists including: The Barkays, Con Funk Shun, Frankie Beverly and Maze, and The Black Eyed Peas. On the rock side of the street, he has collaborated with Beck which open the door to his music gaining worldwide exposure. Blacknell has tapped a vein of gold in the San Francisco r&b and hiphop artists, and has a natural gift for promotion and connecting with a serious promotional effort, and maintains a get-it-done work ethic.
