Giovani Mafia

Giovani Mafia was first established in the summer of 2009 under the name of Young Rookies ENT (YRE). The group consisted of Nino (Fydo), Ms. Dri, Chico (The Prince), Sonny (Drewski), Bam Bam, Lil Purp, Nae Nae, and JayDub. After graduating high school and heading to college Nino and Chico became the primary members of the group. With a new identity came a new name in which the two formulated "Giovani Mafia" which stands for "young family". For the next few years they recorded music heavily in college and searched for an identity and a starting point. It wasn't until the summer of 2014, in the wake of Nino's sophomore mixtape, that the movement actually began to progress. Due to the inconsistencies of working with numerous managers who were not up to par or not focused solely on the task at hand, Nino appointed Adrienne Davis (Ms. Dri.) to be the manager of all operations. Chico became the President of the company and Brandon Davis (Cheyno) was given the title of co-President. With the addition of many members, including Lajoya Reed and Victoria Jones, they have formed what is known now as simply "The Mafia". Through the beliefs that the mafia is built upon loyalty, no one comes before the family, respect, and having faith in one another, Giovani Mafia has continuously made strides to be bigger than local. It is the mission of Giovani Mafia to provide music lovers and fashion fanatics with the mafia related products that will fulfill both desires. Not only is it there mission to appeal to the public, they also plan to demand respect through the grind they portray. It is their job to provide Birmingham, AL with a starting point for future endeavours. Their vision will be illustrated through their actions; their actions will be motivated by their visions. It is their goal to use a mafia style of business to achieve long term success in both the retail and music industries.
