Bio

Giulia Tripoti is a singer of Roma of 33 years, with a strong attitude towards composing and arranging. She bases her music production on the contamination between the different sounds. Her musical identity is formed, probably already in the cradle, when the father and mother made her sleep with sweet lullabies .... and songs of the partisan struggle.
Her musical journey began in ‘97 when shedebut as soloist in the show “GiuliaFXX.” Since then she has grown as a singer-songwriter in Astrade, Bottega Latin Blumenberg67, Beta Elements, Moon and Laltri, Terramaris, PANeROSE, Officine Sud Italia Migrante and through various collaborations as a solo artist and / or songwriter. She also has several collaborations with Francesco “Fry” Moneti (violinist of Modena City Ramblers) and was a special guest of Modena themselves and Yo Yo Mundi. For the Modena City Ramblers has recorded the vocals for the song “Gino” included in their album “Battaglione Alleato” (March 2012).
His compositional style draws on folk music of Southern Italy, the ethnic music of Africa, the prog-rock, folk, electronic music, etc.. and tends to the admixture of sounds. For the text also uses the “complicity” of his father Fabrizio Tripoti, actor/theater director Claudio Spadola and poet Guido Celli.
Gulia loves to pull her creation idea of ??“musical journey,” the bridge between different cultures, not giving up civil commitment.
More recently he has lived between Rome and Turin, coming into contact with the popular culture of the north and taking an interest in reading the songs of weeders, songs partisans and paddy songs, being struck by how, after all, these are a universal feeling of common people, beyond all geographical differences between north and south, are the real glue human among people of all races.
For Giulia the relationship with the public is very important, she likes to call herself “voice and toys” just because she invented an original way to stay in close contact with its audience: during his live (where possible) distributes a basket full of sound toys , which she built through recycling, to make them play time under her direction .. the music becomes play and exchange between the player and the listener.

Some investments in the project from singer-songwriter from 2009 to present:
“Biella Festival 2009” (WINNER) “DEMO’s Lady Award 2010” (WINNER BEST VOCALIST), “Sele d’Oro Award 2010” (FINALIST), “Auditions Musicultura 2010” (conc. semifinalist), “Poggio Bustone Award 2009” (third place), “Author’s Workshops 2009” (finalist) “Lazy Award 2009” (finalist), “Auditions Musicultura 2009” (conc. semifinalist), special live demo at Radio Rai 1, the opening act of the Modena City Ramblers, special duo “Francesco and Giulia Tripoti Moneti” special-guest Modena City Ramblers and Yo Yo Mundi lead vocals in “Gino” Modena City Ramblers album “Allied Battalion.”

She recently palyed in Mexico for Cruzando Fronteras of Mahahual with her band Italia Migrante

-------------------------
