We consider ourselves the harderst working band in Winnipeg because we never take a break. Every weekend is filled with music, whether we are travelling, performing, writing, recording or networking online, Giving In is always working.
A modest musician once told me that we could either create a cover band or create an original band and not both. Well we are both, and we have been doing an amazing job of it for over 5 years. Cover songs allow us make money in a competitive bar scene filled with extremely well rehearsed yet obviously uninspired "pocket players". While sprinkling our originals throughout the night keeps the audience engaged and offers something to the true music lovers. As the founding members of Giving In are only 21 (Scott and Ryan), we still view every show as if it will be our greatest ever. With over 100 shows played (over 50 logged on Gig Calender, Past Shows) we are hungry to make an impression on the music scene.
