Bio
Glass Camera is a 4 (temporarily 3) piece experimental rock band from New York City. The band consists of Dylan Smith on vocals and electronics, Adam Lock on bass, guitar, and trumpet, Warren Drapeau (temporarily absent) on rhythm guitar, and Joseph Badillo of KFC Murder Chicks on lead guitar. The band is currently looking for a drummer. The band combines elements of noise, electronic music, psychedelia, free jazz, post-rock, and post-hardcore to create a truly unique musical experience. Concerts with the band always include extended usage of props and visuals, usually broadcasted from the group’s projector. The band combines elements of visual and performance art, as well as heavily drawing from literature such as William S. Burroughs, Thomas Pynchon, and Robert Anton Wilson. The group also incorporates usage of occult symbolism and mystic imagery, which helps to foster a surreal and transcendental concert environment.
