Zach Glavan (Glavanoid) was born in Ft. Worth, TX in 1989. He grew up in Grapevine, TX in which he began his musical studies on horn at the age of 11. Remaining mostly classically trained throughout most of his high school and college career, Zach studied with/from world renowned musicians such as Jeff Nelsen (Canadian Brass), Richard Seraphinoff, David Effron, and Richard Giangiulio (Dallas Symphony). Throughout high school Zach played for the Youth Symphonies of Greater Dallas and Fort Worth improving his classical experience and touring as a principal player through China, Austria, and the Czech Republic. Zach is currently working towards a BM in Horn Performance at Indiana University's Jacob's School of Music under Jeff Nelsen. Despite his success on horn at the Jacob's School of Music, Zach decided to start writing electronic music as a musical hobby. His electronic influences include artists such as Squarepusher, Aphex Twin, and Lemon Jelly. Zach continues to search for innovative ways to expand the way electronic music is heard and accepted in the larger community.
