Glenn Bell is a Seattle firefighter who hails from Philly. In short, he is an all-American boy, and his self-released debut LP, Slide, is an all-American album, in the mold of Springsteen and James McMurtry—only not as good. But show me a novice songwriter who is as good as Springsteen and McMurtry, and I'll show you my new favorite singer. For the balance of the album's 11 tunes, Bell, backed by an adroit crew of south side players, mellows out and shows some real promise— Glenn Bell is determined to make music, and has the gigs lined up to prove it. - Seattle Weekly
Yes, your CD is terrific, Glenn! If you're ever touring in our area, let me know if you'd like to do a live performance in our Studio B! - WNCW FM, Spindale, NC

Bio
With great debut record Slide, positive reviews and national airplay, Glenn Bell is out there. A local Seattle review described it as all American Springsteen'ish. We describe it as Glenn Bell!!! Fortunate to be surrounded by a handful of trained Seattle veterans, the live show gives as much variety as it's players. Player and Producer Brin Addison (Seattle Hempfest, The Undisputed, Playland, Dave Mathews, Chris Corness, Paul Rogers, Indigo Girls) takes the rain on lead guitar. Classically trained with an affection for rock, Addison can play it all. Wuolett transitions between standard and upright bass and Pfeifer contributes jazz schooling to his rock drumming. Also making appearances, is Merle Festival award winning folk singer/songwriter (Carrie Akre, Phil Madeira) Jason Harrod. Hope to see you out.
