Glenn Driskell

I've been singing for 14 years in worship services and weddings. Everyone seems to enjoy my voice and I have received numerous written cards and letters, phone calls, and personal testimonies describing how my songs have been a moving experience for them. I count it a great honor for someone to asked me to sing for them. I first learned that people enjoyed my singing during Bible School "Round Up" in June 1995. I sang a duet with a friend that had a country sound. People began to encourage me to sing in choir and do solos in church. After overcoming much anxiety, shyness, and just being scared to death, I began a journey in singing Christian Contemporary and Gospel music. Along the way, I gained more confidence and my music minister taught me to sing with all my heart and to use my voice to bring glory to God. My voice is a gift from God because, regretfully, I never studied music. What I've learned is basically on the job training by ear. This on the job training serves me well and keeps me humble. I still work very hard to present a pleasing result. I sing from the heart and not my head.
