Glen Wien has been making fun of people, pointing out others flaws, and well... basically judging people his whole life. Now, he just does it on stage.
A strong starting point, Glen made his debut at the legendary COMIX in New York City in late November 2008, and has been a regular there ever since...no not at the bar, but as a performer. December 2008 brought Mr. Wiens debut to yet another renowned New York City Hot Spot - Chelseas Gotham Comedy Club.
Since then, Glen Wien has graced the stage of many Comedy Clubs throughout the tri-state area and has also managed to open for a slew of HBO & Comedy Central Alumni.
In fact, in the last year alone, Glen Wien has opened for some of the biggest names in Comedy today, including but not limited to:
Jim Gaffigan, Louis CK, Robin Montague, Chuck Nice, Dean Obeidallah, Walli Collins, Mark Viera, Judah Friedlander, Cory Kahaney, Marc Maron, Jim David, Tommy Tiernan, etc
In March 2010 Glen will headline his very own show in New York. This show, expected to sell out, will be filmed and recorded for a DVD/CD poised to be released by the Summer of 2010.
Glen also plans to bring his own brand of Reality TV to YouTube some time this year. In the mean time, you can expect to see Glen gracing the stage with his sarcastic, sometimes subtle - most times blunt, observations and revelations of everyday life throughout New York City and surrounding areas throughout 2010
