Music & Lyrics are reflective of life experiences, drawing on inspiration from tragedies, failed relationships, comical experiences and emotions of love.
Influences would include Matchbox 20, Nickelback, Bon Jovi, Foo Fighters and Richard Marx.
Having such an eclectic repertoire, thus catering for a larger audience. Ranges from a full classic rock sound to more contemporary power ballards.
The title of the EP, ECKTO GECKTO is a tribute to a close friend that was involved in a fatal accident. ECKTO GECKTO was the term used to describe our condition after a few drinks - a personal joke. I had promised the friend I would call the EP that title (which the title has proven to get tongues wagging!!!!).
Highlights so far would be performing on stage my original music with the audience singing the words by the end of the song.
Recording with industry professionals (including a live orchestra), achieving 3 singles (Detour, Jaded and What Do U Want) in the top 5 together (No. 1, 2 and 4) on a Australian ABC Internet Radio Station (all debuted in top 10 first week), notable mentions on International Acoustic Music Awards 2006 and performing on a National stage becoming a judges choice in a Australian Original Talent Showcase (What Do U Want).
Being known as Little Man, Big Voice - I like to call that Little Dog Syndrome.....
