Bio

"A unique sound and writing style" is often the words expressed by those who hear this band. GLIEMs intense emotional core is captured by soulful sweet vocal harmony and catchy energized guitar grooves. An eclectic array of sounds can be heard within the music ranging from rock and roll and blues to roots and jazz. GLIEM consists of lead singer Melodie Gliem, guitarist Bryan Ostrowka and drummer Kelly Scobie. Various performances/airplay includes Cathedral Village Arts Festival, Flatlands Music Festival, CTV news, Canadian Broadcasting Corporations' show "Gallery In The Summer" and Swift Currents 94.1 The Eagle. This prolific band has unveiled a new project, which received a Sask. Arts Board grant. The band is currently working on pre-production for their next recordings and performing in support of their most recent c.d. "When You Know Where You Are"
