Seattle, WA frequently produces bands that change the way certain music scenes exist. GLOBAL WARNING is no exception. GLOBAL WARNING will shake-up the concept of Alternative Metal as it has been previously defined. GLOBAL WARNING is solid proof that their concept of NU Metal is ready to change the way the metal scene exists.
The first two releases of GLOBAL WARNING embodied both aspects of classical metal and more modern variations of the genre. Their latest "Enemy Within" has brought the departure of the classic metal into a solid no holding back Seattle Alternative metal sound. Since their beginning in 1998 they have received notice among the metal community. Their debut Self-titled CD was released in 2000 and met with favor on rock radio. They also had tracks featured on HM Magazines CD Sampler and an appearance on the Rising Stars TV program.
2003 brought with it GLOBAL WARNINGs sophomore release, Digital Black. Both fans and members of the rock radio community were delighted by what they heard. The musical growth of GLOBAL WARNING between their album releases has developed a unique style of metal that is prepared to challenge preconceived concepts of what metal is.
Through full-length releases, compilation CDs, radio and e-zine interviews, as well as reviews, television appearances, movie soundtracks, and live shows, GLOBAL WARNING is ready for global takeover. They refuse to be ignored; metal will never be the same.
