Biography of Pastor Gloria A. Williams

Gloria A. Williams started her singing career in 1971 right after her second son. She had four gifted and talented boys. She taught her children about music and singing. Later on in life joined a nondenominational church in Memphis, Tennessee, where she actually grew up under the leadership of Pastor W. A. Sesley of Morning Star Church. She recorded in her early years at Stack Records. Her first 45 was great in her early years. The name of the first song she recorded was “I Call Him Jesus”. That song was played along side Al Green’s song, to be enter into a talent show. The first marriage failed, the father of her children. Later on the Lord began to deal with her very strongly in vision and dreams. GOD spoke to her about leaving her family in Mississippi and Tennessee, and moved to Georgia to become a hair dresser. She finished school and worked in white and Chinese hair salons. They taught her a great deal about styles and creativity. She became much influence by Jewish sect. She didn’t believed in working on the Sabbath day. She believed that GOD ordained that day for rest. So she changed her career, and went back to school, to become an early childhood educational teacher. She finished school and worked at the Montessori schools, where she believed highly in a better teaching method. Later on she earned a Bachelor Degree in Theology at Omega Bible College in Louisana. She continued her Christian walk under the leadership of Prophetess Jean Barber of Bethel Outreach Deliverance Ministries in Decatur, Georgia where they observed the Sabbath day. She remarried again to a wonderful husband, Minister Arnold Williams, who is the backbone of the her ministry, Getting A Life Deliverance Ministries. She have preached on radio and television stations in Mississippi and Tennessee. Now she is preaching in Atlanta, Georgia on People TV as a community pastor, and soon will be aired in New York intercity. Bishop T. D. Jakes and the Potter’s House ministry by way of television have been a great infuence in her life. She likes riding bicycles and horses and playing tennis.
