"...The highlight was seeing David Gray (not the chart-topping guy) for the first time. His songs, voice and musicianship were incredible. The best part was that he just looked like a regular guy off the street in pseudo lumberjack clothes and a sideways baseball cap. You'd expect someone who looks like that to be loading newspapers off of a truck, not being an artist. That kind of transformation to me, is magic. He opens his mouth, plays his guitar, this beautiful music comes out and you completely forget what he looks like - you're just into the songs. I love that stuff."

Lyrics

Blue Eyes

Written By: David Gray of GloryFront

Its all made up of reasons
Its all made up of rhymes
Tells a story from another time
Leads you to believe
There's nothing that can't be done
Then you realize the story's just begun

It was never what it seemed
Blue eyes you're gonna get by this time
As though you answered yourself
Never give up, never give in
Never say never again

He wonders why be
He'll never be free
Too many explorations
You see what I mean is
I cannot seem to dream that dream
What a story I could tell
If I only knew how
I need this time to take a moment

Blue eyes you're gonna get by this time
As though you answered yourself
Never give up, never give in
Never say never

It was always what it seemed
Blue eyes you're gonna get by this time
As though you answered yourself
Never give up, never give in
Never say never
Never say never, again

Say What It Is

Written By: David Gray of GloryFront

Falling in and out of trust
Won't be a thing again
Show me what you want to know
Time to face your fears with me
Something that you'll never be
Is quite unsure, Is quite unsure
Feelings not left in the dark
Emptiness just roams the halls
I'd like to hear you, I'd like to hear you

Say what it is, Say what it is
Now that I, I have found you
Say what it is, Say what it is
Now that you, You have found me
And I have found you

But the truth is there to set you free
I know who i want to be
You need to know just how I feel
You need to know that this is real
Inside my heart, Beats to see you by my side
Rushes when you walk on by me
When you walk on by
So let me in, Let me part of you
So I can I hear you,
So I can hear you

Say What it is, Say what it is
Now that I, I have found the truth
Say what it is, Say what it is
Now that you, you have found the truth
Say what it is, Say what it is
Now that I, I have found you
Say What it is, Say what it is
Now that you, you have found me
And I have found you

You feel this way
Because you say
The truth is only human
I don't wanna lie, I don't wanna die, I don't want to try anymore
You feel this way
Because you say
The truth is only human
I don't wanna lie, I don't wanna die, I don't want to try anymore

Say what it is, Say what it is
Now that I, I have found you
Say What it is, Say what it is
Now that you, you have found me
And I have found you

Written By: David Gray & Invisible

You traveled a thousand miles to be left alone
Adversity is the only friend you know
But you walk taller then all the rest
Give it all away with out a second guess
The Dreams you have, they're all I see
Wherever I go I take you with me

He is unlike anyone I know, a superhero
He is unlike anyone you know, a superhero

Lord I wish I could be like him when he was young, I wish I could be like him now
There is no imitation to the way he makes you feel, the way he makes you feel
So take me by the hand and walk me to your promised land
Show me what it is that I have to do
To be more like you

He is unlike anyone you know, a superhero
He is unlike anyone I know, a superhero
