Bio

GloveBox is a 5 piece band based in Midland, TX. In addition, the band has a full time sound engineer. Their original compositions are complex and textured. Today's sounds coupled with with yesterday's influences makes this band stand out to take notice of. Musical emphasis is placed on driving rhythms and highly melodic expression, in a progressively fused rock genre. The covers GloveBox performs are from "arena style" artists such as Van Halen, Journey, Styx, U2, Rush, AC/DC, Def Leppard, etc. Other covers include songs from Collective Soul, Radiohead, Linkin Park, Nickelback, Seether, 3 Doors Down, etc.

Randy Bryant- Guitar/Vocals

Randy was born in April, 1961 and was raised in Houston, TX. After finishing high school in 1979, he moved to Midland, TX. His earliest musical recollections were listening to the radio with his parents when he was 5 years old. His favorite song was Wild Thing by the Troggs. Through the years, he has developed a love, respect and appreciation for many styles of music. This includes progressive rock, blues/fusion and contemporary christian rock.

Randy has a long list of guitar player favorites: Alex Lifeson, Robin Trower, Frank Marino, Eric Johnson, Steve Vai, Lincoln Brewster, Eddie Van Halen, Jimmy Page, David Gilmour, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Joe Satriani.

Dennis Burge- Keyboards/Vocals

A native New Yorker, Dennis began studying piano at an early age and pursued an education in jazz composition and theory. He has been an enthusiast of the jazz fusion era and progressive rock development since it's beginning.

After completing his education with degrees in composition and theory, Dennis has been in numerous bands extending from fusion, blues and progressive rock in both New York and Texas.

Highly influenced by artists Chic Corea, Herbie Hancock, Jan Hammer, Keith Emerson and Rick Wakeman, his love for creative expression through the keyboards is Dennis's focal point.

Keith Guinn- Drums/Vocals

Keith is a Native West Texan. Born in Crane, Texas. He has only lived out of Texas for about ten years in Clovis, New Mexico. Moving to Midland in 1977, Keith picked up his first pair of drum sticks when he was 9 years old. His first band during his high school years was a group called TRESTLE. He has been proud to be in some of the top local bands. These include SILENT MAJORITY, BUSTER CHERRY, BLACK TOOTH GRIN.

Influences range from John Denver to Led Zeppelin. Of course for a drummer, Keith really paid alot of attention to his three top artists and bands. Neil Peart- Rush, Phil Ehart- Kansas and Alan White- Yes. Growing up in the 70's, it was the "power house" arena bands that caught his attention. Some of his favorite bands were STYX, JOURNEY, VAN HALEN and DEF LEPPARD.
