Driven by the big choruses and raw guitar style sounds of the Indie Rock Movement, Garrett Lee Robinson encapsulates the artistic elements of Indie and smashes it together with the driving beat of good old Rock n Roll. Uniting musical influences of Foo Fighters and Kings of Leon, Garrett Lee Robinson blends high-energy sing-along melodies with intimately revealing lyrics to emerge as their own distinctive sound.
Garrett Lee Robinson has come along way before hitting the stage. Band rehearsals started in 2011 but the music began back in the 90s when lead singer, Thunderchief, was 12 years old and rockin out to AC/DC in his childhood home. Through the years both Thunderchief and his music has grown to combine the energetic and witty humor that was characteristic of his younger days with more heartfelt lyrics containing personal reflections of lifes challenges with love, loss, and getting screwed over.
With their newest addition, Shane McHugh, on keys and vocals to complete their sound, band members, Thunderchief (vocals and guitar), along with OPM members, Matt Rowe (bass), and Shane Mayo (drums), are all set to release their first album at the beginning of 2014.
