Gmon was born on a tiny little rock in the Mariana Islands chain. Rota to be exact. The island is only 32 square miles. Heck, Disneyworld is bigger than Rota. Gmon's music is written to tell the world about our way of life in this part of the world, but yet contemporary to music mainstream genre. While the lyrics are based on facts and non- fiction, each song has its own inspiration and meaning. All the songs in the Pacific Sounds album was written by Gmon (Glenn Manglona).
