Gnarlene and the Frisky Pigs formed in the Spring of 2011. Talented songwriter Gnarlene hooked up with neighbor Steve Lindsey to work on songs from Gnarlene's 2008 release Blood & Treasure. Curtis and Dave soon came aboard on bass and Drums and the thing jelled.
Onstage the band sports a trashy/glam look and feel, with Gnarlene in a pink wig and gem sweater, Steve sporting his buttoned down look and Cthulu fez, and Curtis and Dave holding down the rhythms and looking casually strange.
Smart, catchy original tunes and a smattering of well chosen covers from Iggy Pop to Nancy Sinatra, this band will leave you wanting more more more.
