"Ten Of The Best Acts"

This is one of the tightest blues bands ever assembled locally. Together with Australian singer Greg Nunan's stirring vocals, they bring back memories of legends such as the Allman Brothers, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and ZZ Top. - The Straight Times (Singapore) November 12 2010

Bio

In November 2010 G. Nunan & The Blues Machine was quoted in Singapore's Straight Times as "One of the tightest blues Bands ever assembled locally".

With 17 years gigging experience and thousands of gigs up and down the east coast of Australia and abroad, G. Nunan, whether solo or with his dynamic band, is a musician with his own stamp.

Amongst playing many different venues, local and interstate, alongside various Australian festivals, in 2007 G. Nunan went to the U.S. and played Maggie Maes in Austin Texas. A couple of months earlier his four piece band, G. Nunan Project, did one of Australia's first online virtual sets for the SXSW Music festival.
For the 3rd time G. Nunan was invited back in 2010 to front The Blues Machine in Singapore.

Highlights have seen G. Nunan jam onstage with the likes of Deep Purple, Royal Crown Revue, Kate Ceberano, Kenny Wayne Sheppard and Bette Midler’s horn section amongst many other amazing musicians.

Not only an experienced performer, G. Nunan has strength in writing catchy riff based songs and of the last few years The Association of Surfing Professionals have been playing G. Nunan music to the ASP world tour highlights on television.

Currently based in Sydney the limelight is on the new G.Nunan Band three-piece combo. Complete with a good dose of chunky guitar riffs and cheeky flamboyance, the synergy and spontaneity will leave you wanting more.
