Romantic, Seductive, Hunky, Demure. What more could you want? Talent? Right.
But really, hailing from across the UK, the Go! Next crew came together to share with you an experience that you probably won't enjoy. In fact, this isn't the music you'll want to spend your evenings listening to, or support with your time or money. Maybe.
The band, comprising of vocalist Tanya Muchanyuka, Guitarist Josh Clowes, Bassist Max Mees, Pianist Jack Williams, Drummer Tobias Hayter and Saxophonist Taliesin Burkitt Jones. This bunch of godawful musicians that should never have met. They have the dubious, unachievable aim of promoting their newly created musical genre 'Luxury Jazz', which, quite frankly, is unlikely to take off.
It is neither luxurious, nor jazz.
I mean, really? How could that possibly be a genre? What's the point of an exclamation mark in the middle of their name? What stupid band would do that? And the zebra head? G!N? WTF?
With their new EP 'What Sara Said' about to gather digital dust on the cyber-shelves, it will soon be clear to everyone who buys it (thanks mum) that this band is destined for the musical scrapheap. Possibly the title of the next EP, in fact. Even the writer, writing about the band in the third person as he (or she) is too embarrassed to identify him (or her) self, knows there is Just No Hope.
Seriously guys, don't encourage us, we need to stop.
If you buy the EP we promise to consider stopping in 2024.
