Godchild

Residing in Haines City, Florida, Jordan "Godchild" Anglin is a Holy Hip Hop artist that has been chosen by God to lead his generation. His lyrics hits home and ministers to the lost as well as the saved with southern style and quotes from the Bible. Jordan heard the voice of God one day in Tampa, Florida while sitting in his car waiting for a job interview. Godchild quickly started making excuses on why he couldn't rap the gospel. The first excuse was he didn't have a name to go by, knowing that friends and family call him J.D. God responded your name is Godchild for I will be with you. Then quickly Jordan came up with many more excuses only to hear God shut them down and Jordan had no choice but to release Godchild from within and do the will of the Lord.

Godchild is no stranger to hard work and dedication, he grew up in the church and gained an interest in music at an very early age with the up bringing of his parents Pastors Marye and Jonathan Anglin. At the age of 15, he started singing in a local choir and just two years later he became director. As a director, he learned how to associate lyrics and movement with music very quickly. This experience left him yearning to do more with music. Subsequently, Godchild honed his writing and keyboarding skills and began to love ministry. In the meantime, his unique directorial style started to catch the eye of people, where he would direct under the anointing. Godchild then strayed from ministry and began writing and producing with a local Production Team called the TrackBlazers. After a few years, this lifestyle started to get old for Jordan and he knew that God was calling him back to ministry where his love for music first came from.

Godchild, is only focused on one thing.....MINISTRY. This is what runs through his veins and he believes and knows MINISTRY is the reason why he lives. Additionally, Godchild is committed to building the Kingdom of God, with his life, just take this line from his song "Ride For God"
