"Many shades of funny"

Godfrey embraces his Nigerian roots on the multi racial "Just for Laughs" Tour. "You ask a white person, they say, I'm Irish - American, 3rd generation Italian, all the way down to the lowest fraction. Black people just say black. I say I'm Nigerian, they say, I thought you were a regular black guy." - Godfrey - The Toronto Sun

BERNIE MAC once told GODFREY, “You’re versatile and that’s going to go a long way.”
Upon arrival in New York, Godfrey’s first job was as a warm up comedian for the Cosby Show on CBS. After a few years as a working comedian in NY, Godfrey landed several high profile projects.
