"GOD'S FAM Joins AACC Katrina Relief Effort"

On October 8, 2005, a benefit concert was held for the Hurricane Katrina survivors at the African American Cultural Center in Charlotte, NC. There were great performances that varied from rap, singing, dancing, and jazz renditions which gave inspiration and hope. GOD'S FAM blessed the end of the event with "Shake It Off". "Shake It Off" is an uplifting song for the survivors. The song gives messages of hope that God will bring you through. It was the perfect night ender. It brought praises to the Lord. Which when we praise God, he gives us peace and joy even when life has it's trials. - Stephanie Hill, Producer Of JC's Hip Hop Show

GOD'S FAM – GOD'S FAM: God's Fam is Adrian Brice and Jermaine Day. Both are emcees, evangelists, producers and writers. Their music can best be described as holy hip-hop. "A Brice" and "Maine" are committing to spreading God's good news through their songs. They are currently living in the south but originated from Buffalo, New York, which may account for the edginess of their evangelical raps. 'One Accord' features a steady rhythm melding over sound effects with a hopeful rap that "He is life". 'Radical Praise' has clapping, accented beats and scratches that blends with talk with harmonies. 'Shake It Off' showcases innovative programming and keys combined with scriptures and a hook line of encouragement. God's Fam's three song EP is potent!

""Crossing The Jordan" Album Review"

Straight out of North Carolina comes the holy hip hop duo A. Brice & Maine aka GOD'S FAM with some of the strongest Christian lyrics that I've heard from any holy hip hop artist. Knowing that praise is their greatest weapon in the attack against the enemy, GOD'S FAM has set out to bless the Lord at all times and allow his praises to stay continually in their mouths. These young men showed their hearts for God on this recording, not compromising the word for self glorification. Although widely accepted in the South, both A. Brice & Maine were born and raised in Buffalo, New York. Listeners can easily hear the distinct undertones of their upbringing in their lyrical style and music. In an age where there's negativity, self-hatred and self destruction in lots of today's music, it's good to know that these young men realizes their responsibilities and are presenting messages of hope to all that are willing to listen. Songs I am feeling are "Shake It Off", "Radical Praise", and the very smooth "Everything". Another good thing about these guys is that you can hear every word they're rapping about. www.godsfam.com
